Privacy Policy

Clippio is a marketplace where campaign owners fund clipping campaigns and creators (clippers) get paid per view. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never touch. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run campaigns and verify views, we never see your passwords or your money, and everything designed to be public on Clippio is stated as public below.
1. What we collect
- Wallet address. Used as your identity for payouts and, for owners, for funding campaigns. We never receive or store private keys.
- Connected social accounts. When you connect an account through the platform's official login (for example TikTok Login Kit or Google sign-in), we receive basic profile information (display name, avatar, account identifier) and, for content you submit to a campaign, its public engagement metrics (view, like, comment and share counts). Access tokens are stored encrypted and used only for the purposes below.
- Campaign and submission data. Campaign briefs, banners and requirements from owners; links to public posts from clippers.
- Email address (owners only). If you log in to manage campaigns, we store your email and use it solely for login codes and essential service messages. Clippers never need an account or an email.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) for security and debugging.
2. What we never collect
- Passwords. Connections use each platform's official OAuth; your credentials never pass through Clippio.
- Private keys or funds. Payments happen on Solana, signed in your own wallet or executed by an on-chain program. Clippio never holds money.
- Private messages, contact lists, followers lists or any content beyond what is listed above.
3. Data from TikTok and other connected platforms
Data obtained through TikTok Login Kit and the TikTok Display API (and the equivalent APIs of YouTube, Instagram or X) is used for exactly two purposes: verifying that you own the account you submit content from, and retrieving the public engagement metrics of the specific videos you submit to campaigns, so payouts can be computed. We do not post on your behalf, we do not access private content, and we do not use this data for advertising or sell it to anyone. You can disconnect a platform at any time, which revokes and deletes the stored access token. Our use of platform data complies with each platform's developer terms, including TikTok's Developer Terms of Service.
4. How we use data
- Running campaigns: showing submissions to owners, computing payouts from view counts, tracking budgets.
- Fraud prevention: engagement and velocity analysis to flag manipulated views.
- Security, debugging and support.
5. What is public by design
Clippio is built on transparency, so some data is intentionally public: campaign pages and their stats, submissions and their view counts, owner payment records (campaigns paid, time to pay, unpaid approved balances), leaderboards, and everything that lives on the Solana blockchain (wallet addresses, vault balances, transactions). Blockchain data is public and permanent by nature and cannot be deleted by us or anyone.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, RPC providers), when the law requires it, or when it is public by design as described above.
7. Retention and deletion
Social connections and their tokens are deleted when you disconnect. You can request deletion of your account data at any time through the contact below; we will delete everything except what we are legally required to keep and what is permanently recorded on-chain.
8. Security
Tokens are stored encrypted, access is limited, and the payment design itself is the biggest safeguard: there are no custodial funds to steal, because we never hold any.
9. Age
Clippio is for users 18 and older.
10. Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy will be announced on this page before they take effect. Questions or deletion requests: reach us through the official Clippio X account, or the support email published there.
