Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of Clippio. By using it (creating a campaign, submitting a clip or providing a payout address), you agree to them. Plain-language summaries appear in each section; the full text is what binds.
1. What Clippio is (and is not)
Clippio is a marketplace that connects campaign owners with content creators (clippers) who are paid per view. Clippio is an interface and a set of tools. It is not a bank, a money transmitter, an exchange, an investment platform or a party to the agreements between owners and clippers. Payments move directly between users on the Solana blockchain: either from the owner's wallet to a clipper's wallet, or through an on-chain program vault that no one, including Clippio, has keys to. Clippio never custodies user funds.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use the service in your jurisdiction. You may not use Clippio if you are subject to sanctions or located in a jurisdiction where doing so is prohibited.
3. Rules for clippers
- Submit only from social accounts you own and have verified through Clippio, and provide a payout address you control: payments to it are irreversible.
- Follow each campaign's requirements, including mandatory disclosure (for example #ad) where the campaign or the law requires it.
- No fake engagement of any kind: no bought views, bots, view farms, engagement pods or recycled content passed off as new. Detected manipulation forfeits pending payouts and leads to a permanent ban, and where staking is enabled, loss of stake.
- Payouts are computed from view snapshots at the platform's measurement times, bounded by each campaign's minimum, maximum and remaining budget, and require the owner's approval. Budgets are first come, first served; a campaign can end at any time when its budget is spent.
4. Rules for campaign owners
- You are responsible for your campaign's content and for having the rights to any source material you ask clippers to use.
- No misleading claims, no promises of profit or returns, and campaigns must require legally adequate disclosure from clippers.
- Review submissions in good faith. In pay-as-you-go campaigns, approved payouts left unpaid pause the campaign after 72 hours, and your payment record (campaigns paid, time to pay, unpaid balances) is public permanently.
- In locked campaigns, deposited funds follow the on-chain program's rules: approved payouts are reserved for their clippers and refunds cover only unspent funds after the campaign closes plus the timelock.
5. Payments
All payments are in cryptocurrency (typically USDC on Solana), move wallet-to-wallet or through the on-chain vault, and are signed by the paying party in their own wallet. Blockchain transactions are irreversible; verify everything your wallet shows before signing. Clippio charges no platform fees during launch. If fees are introduced, they will be added on top of payouts, never deducted from clippers, and announced in the documentation first. Taxes on anything you earn or spend are your responsibility.
6. Prohibited conduct
- View or engagement manipulation in any form.
- Impersonation, or campaigns and content that are illegal, infringing or deceptive.
- Using Clippio to promote anything you know to be a scam, or to offer securities or regulated financial products.
- Interfering with the service, other users' accounts or the measurement of views.
7. Content and intellectual property
You keep the rights to what you create. By posting content or campaigns on Clippio you grant us a non-exclusive license to display them on the service. Owners are solely responsible for licensing any source material used in their campaigns; clippers are responsible for their edits complying with each platform's rules.
8. Third-party platforms
TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X are independent platforms with their own terms, which you must follow. Clippio is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them, and is not responsible for actions they take on your accounts or content.
9. No financial advice, no guarantees
Nothing on Clippio is financial advice. Campaigns may involve tokens and other volatile assets; their value can go to zero. The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clippio's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in fees (during the zero-fee launch period, that is zero).
10. Enforcement and termination
We may remove campaigns or submissions and ban accounts that break these terms, especially for fraud. Banning restricts access to the interface; it does not and cannot confiscate funds that an on-chain program has already reserved for you, which remain claimable under the program's rules.
11. Governing law
The governing law and the operating entity behind Clippio will be published on this page before public launch. Until then, these terms apply as a good-faith statement of the rules of the service.
12. Changes and contact
Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect. Questions: reach us through the official Clippio X account, or the support email published there.
